The 3W hive scale is our budget minded scale designed for beekeepers with a tight budget. This scale is better than most other scales on the market. The 3W scale has a wood base with pins that your hive must sit on. Most hives boxes with a flat bottom work just fine. Apimaye hives as an example have plastic feet which do not match up with the pins so you need to place them on wood and then place the wood over the scale pins. The 3W hive scales also support a maximum weight of 440 pounds with a 1.1 pound accuracy.
